  1. Co-SysOp Commands - [.][C][?]

  4. These commands may be used from any room prompt after typing [.][C]
  5. by a user with Co-SysOp or higher access.
  6.  
  7. [A] Access User
  8.     Allows editing of the current user on-line via the local
  9.     keyboard.  The system password is requested before editing can
  10.     begin.
  11.  
  12. [D] Debug
  13.     [R] Room Pointers
  14.         Displays room message and pointer information along with the
  15.         oldest message pointer, newest message pointer, and oldest
  16.         message on disk.  Press [RETURN] at the "oldmsg%" prompt or
  17.         enter the "Oldest message on disk" number, they should always
  18.         be the same but may vary based on system activity.

  20. [C] Chat Mode Toggle
  21.     Toggle to disable or enable chat mode ringer.  If chat mode is 
  22.     disabled, NOCHAT.BLB will be shown to the user instead of
  23.     notifying the SysOp via bell.  The status line will also update
  24.     to reflect this selection.

  26. [D] Disable BBS Toggle
  27.     If there is a situation where you wish to disable the BBS from 
  28.     accepting any callers but you don't wish to shut your system off, 
  29.     just use this command and all calls will be shown DISABLE.BLB and 
  30.     won't be allowed to logon unless they know the system password.  
  31.     After this file is show, you can press [CTRL-B] and a "Pw:" 
  32.     prompt will display.  Enter the disabled system password and you
  33.     can get on the BBS as normal.

  35. [E] Execute File
  36.     Use the file selector to run any program under ST-Keep, keep in
  37.     mind that you should insure there is enough RAM available for both
  38.     programs.  If this command is used from remote, the user must type
  39.     in the drive/path/filename and you must insure they they don't run
  40.     any programs that don't support modem I/O or the system will
  41.     effectively lock-up since you wouldn't be able to control them
  42.     over the modem.

  44. [F] Floor Editor
  45.     Edit floor name and floor group access.
  46.  
  47. [G] Group Editor
  48.     Edit group names.
  49.  
  50. [K] Kill User
  51.     Delete a user account.  Effectively changes their ACCESS level to
  52.     0, freeing up this userlog record for a new user.
  53.  
  54. [M] Mass Userlog Editor
  55.     This command executes BBS_ME.PRG in your system folder.  You can
  56.     edit all accounts by selected fields with this program, rather
  57.     than one user at a time.
  58.  
  59. [P] Change System Password
  60.     Change the system password.  This password allows access to any 
  61.     user account and other secure features of the BBS, so protect it 
  62.     with your life!

  64. [S] Secure System Toggle
  65.     Make your system secure or open.  If it's secure, all user 
  66.     accounts are installed with access level 1, which means they can 
  67.     not leave messages or make file transfers until the SysOp 
  68.     upgrades their level.  If your system is open, new users are 
  69.     given access level 2 and the default on-line time and download 
  70.     ratio that you entered with the configuration program.

  72. [U] Userlog Editor
  73.     You will be prompted for a username to edit.  Most of the users data 
  74.     can be modified with this command.  You can even print out the 
  75.     user information from here.  This command only works on an 
  76.     account in the disk file, not the current user on-line.

  78. [Z] Change Modem Init String
  79.     You can set your modem initialization string with this command.  
  80.     The initialization string is sent out before the waitcall menu.  
  81.     The start up string MUST contain "AT S0=1 S2=255 M0" at the very 
  82.     least.  These commands respectively place your modem in
  83.     auto-answer mode, refuse remote modem command access, and turn
  84.     your modem speaker off.  ST-Keep handles DTR and CARRIER DETECT,
  85.     so do not force them on from your modem.  If you have special high
  86.     speed modems or modems with other features, you can attempt to
  87.     include more options here if necessary so long as they don't
  88.     interfere with CD or DTR.
